[Simply Computers] Re: Virus and Back Blaze question - David

Today, I spent hours copying zillions of files that I want to keep. I put
them on my external hard drive..as of right now it'll take almost 10 hours
to make the transfer complete. The external hard drive works fine, it's
Back Blaze that I'm having the trouble with. This must have been a really
nasty virus. My son was thinking of doing a System Restore. Would you
suggest that?

Thanks, David

Debbie

If a virus on your computer had the ability to do that much damage, it
might take months to be completely sure you fixed all of the damage. This
sounds like a great opportunity to test out the backup you've been
running. Why not try to restore that backup from a time before the virus
