I'm convinced that's it's all due to the virus, also.
So which is the current drive letter for your external drive, M ?
Did you try setting the BackBlaze software to backup to Drive M ?
If that doesn't work, you may still have remnants of your horrible virus, and made need to reinstall Windows and all your programs.
Hopefully not, because that's a long process.
