[Simply Computers] Re: Repairing Internet connection

Do you have the wireless connections set to "Automatically Connect" on
each machine? Sometimes the signal strength will drop down low enough
to cause the adapter to "disconnect" and if it was not set to
"Automatically Connect" you would have to do a repair or re-connection.
Another issue I've seen is allowing the PC's to "Sleep" or "Hibernate".
When they wake back up, the wireless connection often will fail to
reconnect.
Troubleshoot the problem by making sure the machines are not set to
"Sleep" or "Hibernate". If the problem goes away, then that's what's
wrong.
Also, I've seen this problem with wireless routers that are failing.
They will "dump" all the computers that are connected and won't
reconnect them until each computer is rebooted.
Which Netgear router do you have?
