[Simply Computers] Re: Preference for Avast was COMPUTER PROBLEMS

 

I don't use MSE but I read that if you do a manual update it messes up the autoupdate. It will then take a day or two for it to get back in sync. You should either always do manual updates, or just leave it alone and allow it to update itself. It will usually update within 10 minutes after a reboot or coming out of sleep, assuming a new definition is available. The software updates automatically once a day.
