I like the way it updates. I, like Roger, find the orange thing frequently
and while I don't mind the prompt to scan, I don't know why it just doesn't
scan automatically. But then I scan with other tools so it's not too big of
an issue but it's something that needs to be "fixed" frequently.
Avast auto updates and that's good mostly for machines that I oversee (e.g.,
wife's, grandkids, etc.) where I'm not sure they're doing their due
diligence...<g>

Funny, my MSE installation (on a Vista machine) updates automatically,
without the "warning". I don't know what might be different.
Why do you like Avast better?
