John, all of these WIN 7 are EON programs and you said I couldn't install on a machine that did not originally come loaded with this version???????? Jean in GA
PS I would like very much to have both the laptop and the desktop loaded with the same version but guess not without a very high payout for a full version of 7. My Dell disk don't have the EON? listed on the disk or on my bill of sales. The win. works disk envlope does hav ""Tracking no.---" on the label. Te 7 operating system disk carries a P/N N number Thanks, Jean in GA
